God I hope Gamefreak is trolling everyone and Sylveon ends up being a dragon type. But at the same time, I want fairy type to be real beause it’d be so AWESOME.

The only thing that makes me even slightly okay with fairy type potentially being a thing is that one source that said that Fairy is immune to Dragon. We do kinda need a type to troll the hell out of Dragons the same way Dark did to Psychic…

Also keep in mind that Gen. VI is set in Europe, so Fairy may just be a denominator for creatures from folklore, like fairies, trolls, etc. whose introduction would suit the setting.
